Ok, so judging by what I've read in the threads here, Soul Calibur 4 seems to be the most widely owned game for us 360 users. I've counted seven people that would be interested and feel that 8 would be an acceptible number of players. Ps3 seems all over the place and the Wii contingent hasn't come on as strong as I thought they would.
The bare minimum for running this would be eight players. I know a couple still have to pick up the game(Knyte/Opti), one has a busted 360 (horse) and one is currently moving (FNJ), so this is still in pipe dream status. Either we need moar players or for the status of some listed to change. Either way, no rush.

I was not familiar with that term pipe dream... at least i forgot it if i was. IF, a big IF.. i get a 360 i'd play, don't count me in, until i get news on whether I end up getting one. The new ones with the built in wi-fi are pretty sweet.

No worries, Jon. Half of the people reporting aren't capable of playing yet.
The other suggestion would be using an emulator w/ net connection abilities and find an obscure fighting game nobody knows how to play.
Elsewise, I use this time to practice SCIV and dust the rust off my Tekken 6 skills.

Also, if we play a game that has spectator mode, like doa4, or ssfiv, I may be able to record the fights.

I just played a few matches of soul calibur online and it was laggy as hell. Anyone else have this troule, or is it just because I'm on a wireless connection?

I played it a couple of days ago and for the most part it was pretty laggy. Depends on who you are playing.
