I like Good Eats, and I also like the fact that The Chairman in Iron Chef America is apparently some kind of robot. Seriously, look at his neck and jaw snap back in that clip, he looks entirely animatronic.

Woot! Looking on tvtropes, apparently the original Iron Chef airs on The Cooking Channel.
Also, it was my understanding that Mark (Chairman of ICA) was Kaga's nephew.

No they just say as some sort of fictional tie to the original.
