The Constitutional Monarchy of FigCola

“Oh ho!”

Category: Inoffensive Centrist Democracy
Civil Rights: Below Average
Economy: Good
Political Freedoms: Excellent

Location: SLFS

Regional Influence: Minnow

The Constitutional Monarchy of FigCola is a tiny, pleasant nation, remarkable for its compulsory military service. Its compassionate, intelligent population of 8 million have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

The medium-sized government is effectively ruled by the Department of Defence, with areas such as Religion & Spirituality and Law & Order receiving almost no funds by comparison. The average income tax rate is 17%. A large private sector is led by the Gambling, Uranium Mining, and Furniture Restoration industries.

Voting is voluntary. Crime is a problem, and the police force struggles against a lack of funding and a high mortality rate. FigCola's national animal is the rat, and its currency is the Pop.

FigCola is ranked 17,639th in the world for Largest Automobile Manufacturing Sector.

Wow...I went from an Inoffensive Centrist Democracy to Corrupt Dictatorship for banning political parties from advertising or receiving private donations.

Well, think about it. You banned political parties from being able to advertise or receive donations, that effectively makes it a staged election since no one will be able to figure out what either party is going to try to do if elected. In other words, corrupt dictatorship.

I haven't checked it out, but I know Obama endorsed a game where you're supposed to fix the economy, which sounds like a really cool sim-game. Is this the one he endorsed?

Ah, I hadn't thought about it that far, I just wanted to stop private donations.

EDIT: It has a black background, in case there's any confusion.

Do you have any idea how much effort it takes to move an entire nation of 12 million people?

Luckily for you, The Glorious Nation Of Dravoria is nestled on a floating island, so between our navy, fishing industry, and everyone else rowing from the beach shores, we have relocated to the SLF region.

Now, please buy weapons from us.

And, vote us as your WA Delegate.

Oh, and we recently discovered Uranium in our rainforest. We are extracting it now, and hope to refine it into weapons grade by the end of the year. Once this is complete, nations that are our allies, (and have exclusive weapons contracts with us,) will have the option to buy Tactical Nuclear Weapons from us.
