If you want to actually see the people behind the avatars, this is the thread you're looking for: http://www.sydlexia.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=796

I remember that thread... it was good fun. Sock, can we at least live in peaceful coexistence with a mutual hatred for the Flyers?

Thou, because I am wroth, be not dismayed, for I shall win the strife, whoever circle round within for the defence. This their insolence is not new, for of old they used it at a less secret gate, which still is found without a bolt. Above it thou didst see the dead inscription; and already on this side of it
descends the steep, passing without escort through the circles,
One such that by him the city shall be opened to us. |

Yes, yes we can. Fuck the Flyers, fuck them hard. Not in an "Oh God, that was fucking great" way, in a "OH GOD, OH GOD, OH GOD, I CAN NEVER TRUST ANOTHER BLACK MAN AGAIN!!" way.

There never was an image here, what the fuck are you talking about? |

I'm 20 years old, but I've been accused of being as old as thirty. I live in roswell, the town famous for the supposed alien crash in 1947, which I'm pretty sure is a load of horse shit. Most offensive to me is the fact that Robert H. Goddard conducted his experiments on liquid fueled rockets here.
Im a self proclaimed intellectual with a taste for science, philosophy, history, psychology, math, literature, etc. I'm a giant fan of videogames, especially ones from arcades, RPGs, and platformers. I can't draw, so dont bother asking. As far as videogames go, I dislike firstperson shooters, sports and racing, and a general distaste for any kind of 3-d fighter. I have no camera, so I can't put my picture on the internet, not that I want to. I'm half hispanic, so jokes involving swimming across a certain river or doing yard work will piss me off quick. I was born here as my parents and grandparents, so jokes about jumping fences will also make me furious. Fortunately, I also have a sense of humor, so jokes involving Zapata lookalike banditos riding raptors or the like will make me laugh. Same with non-sequiters, puns, and dark humor. I loath onions and ignorance with a great passion. And thats all your getting.

Born and raised in Massachusetts, still residing in my hometown.
After high school, I started off at Tufts studying computer engineering.
When I decided that I didn't particularly enjoy computer engineering, I ended up at UMass Lowell where I graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor's in Philosophy/Communications.
Like so many other college grads, I am currently doing absolutely nothing that relates to my degree.
Like Kubo, I own sick amounts of DVDs.
According to a severely out of date Excel spreadsheet that I was too lazy to keep up with, I own 136 DVDs. Counting TV seasons, it is probably almost twice that at this point.
Currently playing StarFox Command on the DS and Lego Star Wars on the GCN.

For seemingly no reason, I don't wanna remain a faceless person.
So, here I am.
Anyone else not willing to remain faceless?
Edit:Oh shit! Didn't notice the thread "this could be fun"

Glad to see you joined the fray Syd. I thought you might just kinda sit by while your forum members give their bios... glad to see yours too.

I'm Frank, I'm 16 (I thought I was the youngest on the forum until SoulShadower showed up). I'm in all honors classes, hoping to go to college and become either a programmer, or some other field that has to do with making games. I love technology, but have no job, so my laptop is pretty shitty. I also have too many shirts referencing obscure pop culture, some that I had made in a t-shirt shop. I love fighting games, RPGs, and platformers. I like certian FPS games, and some racing games (like F-Zero and Mario Kart). I hate most movie tie-in games, as well as overbudgeted or overhyped games that turn out shitty (I'm talking to you, Geist!). I guess that's it, besides the fact that I know way too many obscure facts about almost every field except sports, and my dad says I'm the reincarnation of Cliff Claven. Also, I think that I have an old man name.
Edit: Oh, yeah, I forgot. I may explore a career in engineering, since I'm in drafting classes. Also, despite living in Missouri, I was born in Connecticut and grew up watching Thomas the Tank Engine, which explains why my accent sounds like an Eastern accent, with a side of Midwestern, and British sprinkled on top. There's some other shit, but I can't remember it right now.

My name is Marty Rovente. I live in Cleveland, OH. I am a huge fan of Japanese culture, anime, and katana swordplay. I go to a karate dojo where I study shorin ryu karate. I work at a pizzeria for a living and I'm currently in college going for a degree in animal dentistry.

Well, we only knew for sure that she was presently a whore, she wasn't necessarily a whore when the picture was taken. Like if you saw a picture of that whore Britney Spears from back when she was in the Mickey Mouse Club, you'd probably say: "Look! It's a picture of that whore Britney Spears from back when she was in the Mickey Mouse Club!"
When you speak about someone, you should refer to them using their highest level of whoriness. You know, like how you're always supposed to address politicians and former politicians using their title from their highest held public office.
