I was looking at my PM's, and I've been noticing that some of my PM's are going to the Outbox. Is that where they go when they fail to reach the person or something?

PMs in the outbox have yet to be opened by the person who you sent them to.
You can delete your own threads if nobody has posted in them yet.
And really, posting a thread asking someone to check their PMs defeats the purpose.
