I figured Tony wouldn't have been startled, seeing as he was a ghost, and Justin would've, seeing as he wasn't. Also, 1986 was Metroid's original Japanese release date, but came to the west the following year, same as with The Legend Of Zelda and Kid Icarus.

Upon further review you're right on Metroid. Several prominent sites, including GameFAQS, incorrectly list the US release date as August 1986.
In 2003, Mitch Albom's book The Five People You Meet In Heaven was published.

No, I was rewriting and I screwed up. Originally it said "denounced" instead of "advocated", but I wanted to vary my word usage, so I tried to change it to "attacked". Instead, I somehow typed "advocated".

Yeah, the first one was totally on purpose.
Also, I am aware that exclusionatory is not a real word, before anyone says anything.
Under the 5 entry, there should be a period after Wrong.
There are a lot of what if's in life Donny. What if I hit you really hard in the face, knocked yo shit to the back of yo skull? What if I....had you girl gargle my nuts? The fact remains, you are a fuckin mutant.
And no matter how fast you mashed the start button to get to the title screen, you'd always see that date flash on the screen before your request to skip the opening story seqence was accepted.
Obvious error aside, there's actually a small window between the logo screen and the beginning of the story where, if you press start, you skip the latter in its entirety.
