The first one isn't so much a typo as it is a bad attempt at a pun, but the second one is fixed.

Actually, Gay K K was just my title so you knew what article I was talking about. Don't worry, pun well received on this end.

For Clarissa:

"From its premier in 1991..." - it sould be "premiere".

"I wish all more girls' parents had been like that..." - either "I wish all the girls'" or "I wish more girls'".

"There would no be toy line" - "There would be no toy line". Actually...

"There would no be toy line, no video games, no bed sheets." - "There would be no toy line, video games, or bed sheets".

"why the hell would I want to call another friends? " - friend

Also from Clarissa:

"Clarissa Explains It All was one of Nickelodeon's most popular show." - should be "shows"

"These game pieces help emphasis the fact that you don't have a car yet" - should be "emphasize"

"president afraid of the dark - That would be Bill Clinton. The reason he’s afraid of the dark is because Hillary could hiding there somewhere, waiting for him."

Should be:" Hillary could BE hiding there somewhere".

The "for" isn't actually necessarily. He would be waiting outside the ship for the players.

Once again, my failure to point out the typo. I was pointing out the "for" was a problem in the existing sentence and not that it needed to be added.

Now get rid of it.

"If You’re Reading This, It Hasn’t Obviously Happened."

These people can’t take a fucking joke (or spell… or put together a coherent though)

"Though" needs an extra "t" to make a "thought", I think.

"Bad Dudes"

I know the site is on the verge of overload, but I needed to reread the "Bad Dudes" article again.

A couple of things grabbed me:

"You start off in the streets, presumably somewhere in Washington DC." - The nitpicker I am, the game starts in New York because you pass a "New Yorker" building as some point during the level. But to fit your script idea earlier in the article it would have to be D.C. Then the next level is most definitely New York as the Empire State building shows up... or I mixed up the two and the first level is D.C. and the Bad Dudes ride on a truck to New York. Hey, it can happen.

"Bad Dude isn't anywhere near as deadly a bird" - needs to be "...as deadly AS a bird."

"In addition to thestandard ninjas..." - needs a space between "the" and "standard".

"The first is attack dogs. " - Would it be: "The first are attack dogs"? I hate English.

NITPICK: "You're not tough enough to punch fire, so if you don't have a weapon, you'll have to jump over the son of a bitch." - You can also drop kick the motherf*cker.

Page 2
"He's actually pretty good and doing it." - Might be an error.

Fixed.

Since the New Yorker and Empire State Building don't appear anywhere in the background of Level 1, I chose not to change that. It could very well still be New York, but logic dictates that it *should* be DC.

Fun Fact: The New Yorker and Empire State Building each appear 4 seperate times in the background over the course of Level 2. So either it's lazy programming or you're driving in a circle. Being as the game is from the 80s, I'm pretty sure it's lazy programming.

The New York thing started to bug me, so I fixed it.

I also replaced the shitty low-res graphic on the index page: http://www.sydlexia.com/index3.html

The Grapes of Wrath

"At one point in my life, I was slated read to this book on Def Poetry Jam" - "I was slated to read this book..."

Probably not an error: "...I realized I was being douche and changed it." - I usually hear "I was being a douche", but I guess losing the "a" really doesn't matter.

Also debatable: "Instead, self-righteous Planeteers show up and knock their tractors over the power of wind..." - I'd say "knock their tractors over with the power of wind."

"This is one a few images that I actually pulled off the internet." - "one of a few images..."

"Maybe if we start slandering them, they'll finally get off their asses and so something" - so = do.

"Personally, I also found this dichotomy to rather irritating." - "to be".

"...but I wasn't able to say call the book "fucking retarded" in an open class discussion without fear of reprisal." - "...I wasn't able to call the book...".

" I guarantee you'll get a grade. " - I don't know whether there should be an adjective in here or not.

Totally Terrific Taito Typos

Great article! Just wanted to pass along some of the typos I spotted:

"your goal was to bounce the ball off of a poorly constructed and destroy it brick by brick." - poorly constructed [wall?]

"Most strikingly, there's very bubbles" - very [few?] bubbles

"The later is preferable because it will score you rainbow gems." - latter

"it also has nigh impossible achieve trick that allows you to skip boss battles." - not sure here -- maybe "nigh-impossible-to-achieve"?

"Along the way, he'll fight as host of bizarre enemies" - a host

"a brave hippopotamus who must rescue who must rescue his hippopotamus pals" - "who must rescue" appears twice

"Third, level bosses they came up with are far less inspired and entertaining." - [the?] level bosses

**Kiwi Gone to Heaven**

"Starting in Level 3, Tiki can ascend into Heaven" - there's an extraneous link - pops up w/ the same page

"and obe for Level 5." - and one

"God doesn't let inept retarded into Heaven." - "inept retarded [kiwis?]"

UGH... and thank you. I try to proofread thoroughly, but at a certain point, I get really sick of looking at my own writing. Also, the extraneous link was done on purpose.

I also noticed in your Mega Man article you claim that Spark Man is from Mega Man 36, and Spring Man is from Mega Man 76.
