i haven't read any of the others in a long time, but i feel like it's one of the better ones in the series with only a couple minor complaints.

Hahaha, I like how you guys mention NOWHERE what you're talking about. I know because I'm reading that series myself but way to be vague! I finished The Shadow Rising and have Fires of Heaven but haven't started it yet. I still have to finish Invincible, I've been reading the damn Legacy of the Force series forever...

Yeah, someone mention the author or series or whatever, I shouldn't have to google a random phrase to understand what is being talked about.

a gathering storm is book 12a of the Wheel of Time series. the author is Robert Jordan who passed away and now Brandon Sanderson is ghost writing off of the notes Robert Jordan left behind.

I mean, DUH Josh. How did you not know that???
On topic heh, I never did get past book 4 of WoT. I've kept up with the summaries of events because I really do like the world and the characters, I just can't deal with how slowly Jordan develops things. Drives me insane, and I have a high tolerance for slow-paced literature. Still, if this really is good, I may pick it up--perhaps even try the series from the start again at some point. I am curious to see where it ends up.

Oh my god, New Spring put me to sleep for those reasons Hawk. It's less a prequel than "Office Work: The Novel!"
