I was wondering what songs people considered "their" song?
Mine personally is Sweet Child O' Mine by of course GNR. My mom used to sing it to me or play the album when she was pregnant with me, and if I ever cried as a baby, they'd throw it on, and I'd totally calm down. To this day(I'm 17 now), whenever I hear the song, I reach this high, this totally spacy, zenlike existence. All my problems vanish, the world disappears, and I know everything will be alright.
I was wondering if anyone else had a song like that?

Muzzle by the Smashing Pumpkins, and more recently, Isolated by Chiasm - that band's only good song.

Balrog's Theme in SFII (preferably CPSII version, but the Arrange in Anniversary Collection is cool, and the CPSI version is okay, I guess.)

I wish it were:

"Lorca's Novena" - The Pogues
or
"Holding Out For a Hero" - Bonnie Tyler

But, it really seems to be:

"Walkie Talkie Man" - Steriogram.

Beatles Song Theme (I had a vote conducted a while ago):
"Paperback Writer"

"If you will not tell me, I will hurt people!!!" -Nuclear Man

"Do you hear? The alpha and the omega. Death and rebirth. And as you die, so will I be reborn!" - Skeletor

you know what annoys me? the fact that the only version of street fighter alpha with the arranges in it is the one on sony playstation. I bought the alpha collection when I had those tunes stuck in my head, and was severely disappointed with the arcade versions.

Some of the arranges are better than the CPSII versions, but most of the CPSII version music is better. In Balrog's theme (which still sounds okay in arrange, but not as good) they did some weird pipe organ thing. I don't know. Also, Vega's Arrange sounds like a total Zorro ripoff.

The opera house theme from FF6. I love that tune. I'm also partial to Frog's theme from Chrono Trigger.

I spent an entire night transcribing the Opera song onto guitar years ago. It is a very soulful and unforgetable tune.

Mine is Adiemus by Adiemus. Whenever I hear it, it sweeps me away. Like I am a camera sweeping over the landscapes of New Zealand ala Lord Of The Rings.

It's either that, or the end game music from Snafu on the Intellivision. I always have that tune stuck in my head...

You can dance if you want to, you can leave your friends behind

EVERYBODY

'Cause if friends don't dance and if they don't dance then they're no friends of mine.

If you're accusing me of stealing that from an episode of Seinfeld, you're wrong. I would never ever do that.

Mourning Glory by Ween.
It was just another song until I listened to it at 2 in the morning cold from blood loss.
