I liked Horse the Band's first album. I like a little synth in some of the music I listen to but nothing straight up Electronic usually, unless it's in a video game where it fits well.

Shake it, Quake it, Space Kaboom.

Hahaha Horse the Band is pretty cool. I used to like MSI if that counts (forgive me). I like when some hardcore bands use the techno stuff, the right way.

1. MSI is amazing.

2. They aren't really electro, there are some loops used but mostly it is instruments

Anyways, I am sure I have expressed my love of electro-industrial somewhere, including bands like Combichrist, X-Fusion, KMFDM, Front 242, Anglespit, Acumen Nation (when working with DJ? Acucrack), wumpscut, and Suicide Commando.

I also listen to some regular electro in the form of The Prodigy, Crystal Method, MGMT, and Innerpartysystem.

Local (as in, from California) electro groups I listen too: Dead Panda, Vyncent Flaw, Romak & the Space Pirates, and DJ Vertix AKA DJ Clusteryiff

Well they use "some" loops in every single song. They were pretty much my favorite band in like 8th and 9th grade, but I dunno this was right around the time I got really into guitar and my taste in music changed a lot. They're kind of more of an act than a talented band to me, the singer even kind of admits it. I still think some of their stuff is pretty good tho, especially from "Tight" and "F.G.W.S.S.S"

I love Lady Gaga and Daft Punk, especially Daft Punk. I've been a fan of theirs since I was ten.

Some of my personal favorites:
Nine Inch Nails
M.I.A.
Depeche Mode
Bjork
Crystal Castles
Aphex Twin
KMFDM
Portishead (if you consider trip-hop/weird Silent Hill-esque music to be electronic)
Gravity Kills
New Order

Daf, New Order, DJ Shadow, Zombi, Nitzer Ebb...can't think of anything else at the moment.

Aphex Twin is the only proper electronic music I've ever listened to.

Kid A is my favorite Radiohead album, but I'm not sure if it counts.

As for you, well I don't know you but I'm sure you're a jerk!

If Kraftwerk doesn't count, screw this thread. Also, Throbbing Gristle

In vaguely related news, I heartily enjoy the seemingly 8-bit sounds that MGMT has on their music, the singles I've heard at least.

I don't like it in general. There's one CD, however, that caught my interest at a small age and is responsible for my overall personality today.

I don't know how to get you to hear the songs, but the CD itself is called Trance Party vol. 1. It was a collaboration of 16 different groups contributing one trance song and turning it into a sort of musical collage. I highly recommend you all check it out.

I don't know if this counts, but there's something about Pigs On Drugs that I love, despite there only being two songs, as far as I know.

Oh, and Chiptune is fucking awesome:

This. I listen to them quite a lot since I first heard of them. Also, I recognized that Anamanaguchi song Logan posted here in less than a second. (Jetpack Blues, Sunset Hues on their Dawn Metropolis album, which I have in my iTunes music library)

Electronic music is bare minimum 50% of the music I listen to, maybe closer to 75%. While I listen to most everything electronic, my favorite genres are Trance, House, Electro, Dubstep (Brostep is okay too Wink), Drum n Bass, Eurobeat, Downtempo and Ambient. I don't listen to a lot of Techno, but I'm sure everyone that knows me thinks I love "TECHNO" so hard. Here are some samples of the stuff I listen to.

Trance: My favorite Trance song of all time, Exactly by John O'Callaghan and Brian Kearney

House:

Electro:

Dubstep: My favorite Dubstep song from the greatest dubstep album ever, Fabriclive 37

Brostep: Skrillex is too easy...hmm...ah yes, here we go, love this one. Smile

Drum n Bass:

Eurobeat: Epic Para Para ~ The songs are Night of Fire by Niko and Mickey Mouse March by Domino

Downtempo:

Ambient: Got 20 minutes to spare? Then listen to my favorite Ambient song, A Huge Ever Growing Pulsating Brain That Rules From the Centre of the Ultraworld by The Orb.

And just because they transcend genres and everything they make is epic, here's Lemon Jelly:

There, that should last you for a while. ENJOY! ^-^
