So I just posted my 5th blog entry, and there's been a few different tones used in them. I'm just curious what sort of stuff people would be most interested in, as well as people's impressions so far. The most recent entry stopped trying to be funny and basically got angry (but there's really not much funny about the topic), so I guess I'm just looking for feedback in general regarding the whole blog concept and if there's a specific type of stuff people would prefer reading about.

Btw, the link for anyone who hasn't read it is in my signature, and it's going to be updated at least once each weekday, unless I run out of stuff to say. (And remember, just like a web comic or something, not every entry can be great)

I think it is awesome. I like the constant updates. My only complaint is that the formatting should be better, and you should be able to comment on articles.

This rocks by the way.

If Syd or someone wants to giv eme the code to let people comment, then I'd be happy to put it there, but I have no idea how and writing the updates takes all the time I can afford for it, so I don't think I'll be able to research it myself.

How many threads does it take to whore out a blog?

Love your posts, but they could benefit from a little proofreading.

Most glaringly, WILLA WONKA.

Apparently I did that on purpose since I did it EVERY FUCKING TIME. Are you sure you didn't change it to fuck with me or something?

Tomorrow morning I'll proofread everything and spell check it all and stuff. Also, my entry for tomorrow includes a list, although it's not a top list, just a list of....stuff....read to find out.

Loved the national anthem post. That was the best one yet. But you really need to proofread your articles before they go online. Wink

I was unfortunately running late for work already so I didn't have time to proofread the national anthem one, but yeah I definitely should proofread them first. There should be another one up today, but beating the national anthem one is gonna be tough.

That was pretty entertaining.

TV edits for films were pretty ridiculous in the 80s, and into the early 90s.

Die Hard: "Yippee-ki-yay, Mr. Falcon."
Scarface: "How'd you get that scar, eating pineapple?"

LOL!!! That censoring article was genius!

You should add some stuff like pictures relating to what you are talking about. Right now everything looks like a big wall of text.

Syd, you forgot the best TV edit ever. I forget exactly how it's worded, but in the Big Lebowski the phrase "this is what happens when you fuck a stranger in the ass" is changed to something along the lines of "this is what happens when you feed a stranger in the Alps"

That also reminds me of an edited scene in the TV version of the Matrix. After Neo gets arrested and he is in the room with Agent Smith, instead of giving him the finger, he sticks out his fist and calls him something random. Can't find a video of it.

New entry is up now. It's more in the vein of the Willy Wonka one, in that it's probably more angry than funny, but take a look! (note: I'm already late for work so it won't be proofread until tonight. I know there's typos in there.)

That article was so funny! I understand exactly the horrors that go on in movie theaters. Anyway, in the sentence "I would've made a seen and told them to get out, but I didn't know until after the movie. should say "I would've made a scene and told them to get out, but I didn't know until after the movie".

Jeebus, that's why I never go to movie theaters anymore. It's that and worse every single time.

Please proofread this. Other than that, great entry.

I have a horrible movie story as well. Some of my friends wanted to see Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. I didn't want to waste money on the film, but they said they would pay for my ticket. A free movie is a free movie. Anyway, while we're sitting and listening to MovieRadio or whatever the hell they play in the theaters, I hear three people in the front row gushing loudly in fake British accents about how they can't wait for the movie. No big deal, I thought, they should shut up when the film starts. Of course, if that had happened, I wouldn't be writing this. No, these people proceeded to talk TO THE MOVIE!!! Every time Harry was in trouble, I heard "Oh, I 'ope 'arry 'ill be awright!", every time Snape was on the screen I'd hear some retarded and derisive remark, and the worse thing is that EVERY TIME THERE WAS A CAT ON SCREEN THEY'D SAY "ooooh, kitty!!!" I could not BELIEVE this. Granted, I didn't want to see the film anyway, but these bitches were just making it worse. Near the end of the film, when Harry was sad because his balls hadn't dropped or something, the people actually said "Aw, cheer up 'arry!" And I lost it. I told them to shut the fuck up, and that they were extremely retarded for offering encouragement to a piece of celluloid. They were silent for the rest of the godawful film, and I lost a bit of my sanity that day.

Here's the clincher: I thought it was 3 little girls, but when the lights went up and I looked to the source of my derision, it was a little girl, her mother, and her grandmother. That's right, three separate generations of retarded. Lord, I hate Harry Potter.
