Here's the deal. We don't have one, never really needed one. It was brought up in jest because of Tish as a joke (some were probably serious). Now we have some sort of coalition of forumers trying to ban together to get a forum created for something we never really needed.

In essence you are playing an "economics" game. You keep creating an ass load of topics about food, not because you neccessarily want to but because your trying to make a point. What that's doing is making a false "demand" for said forum.

Like I said before in 4 months we have had what, like 15 topics releated to food. One I inculded was about Disney and Dog food. What's most likely going to happen is the Food forum will just be filled with countless. "What can I eat?, What's good?, MMHMM Grilled Cheese and Cheetos!" topics.

There's 3 ways to go, in my opinion.
1. Ask Syd to create a User Group and all you guys can talk about Calories all you want.
2. Suck it up and live with not having one.
3. Answer the poll and I would say if 75% of the forumers want a food thread then it should probably get made.

I don't own the site so I can't say Syd should take this poll as a reason to make it or not.

Well while there might not be a lot of topics on food i think the few food thread would get several replies, though that really doesn't warrant a whole separate group

Actually, we should just make the "Random Crap Forum", just to post stuff like Food and Drink, Sports, and the Derail topics.

EDIT: My "What should I eat" wasn't meant to promote the Food and Drink thread. Sorry if you thought it was.

It was just an example. The derailed topics in a seperate forum? There wouldn't be anything posted in the actual forums then.

You guys are acting like a child who wants a puppy. Sure you fight and fight for it but then after the fucker gets older you care less and less about it until it just becomes that thing we have on the floor.

Honestly, I say keep food in the general forum. If we keep having to give every damn thing its own forum nothing is gonna happen in General Chat. Besides, this is the most talk about food I've ever seen on any message board. and I kinda like it.
