I'm using Nestopia, which has a built in recording function. I'm not sure if it records wrong or if it plays back wrong though. Every single run that I record plays back as a guy jumping to the LEFT off the first fucking cliff, between repeatedly pausing and unpausing the game. So fucking annoying. It's entering in nonexistent bullshit commands and basically doing nothing that I originally input.
What's more frustrating is that I'm finally getting to the later levels, but I know none of my progress is actually being recorded. It's pretty fucking lame.

So just download Virtua Nes I think docinsano uses Nestopia too, and his videos are eyesores.
I forgot this one, but "Barrier", the one that makes you invincible. Since it doesn't alter fire in any way it's legal right?
I've done successful runs of the levels where it's needed most without it, but am curious if it's ok to pick up.

You know how I keep dying? An enemy where there shouldn't be one. Of course, he's armed, and I dodge the bullet, and touch him. Instant Black Plague kills me upon touch.
I'm sure you'll say something about there being "random" enemies, but that's not really true. There's like 4 or 5 different variants the game throws at you. This time, one stupid enemy made a cameo out of order and killed me.
I've also enlisted the help of some Gosling rum to help me play, or curse more. I'll let you know later on which one.
