I got nothing for this round. For some reason nothing I do is recording and I am waaaaaay to sick of this game to try some more. I got up to 8.3M, but obviously it didn't record so I have nothing to submit this round.

I tilted the game after the fact more than once.
I'm glad to see this game go, even though it wasn't too irritating. Once the pinball split the flippers at a time I had -two- Extra Balls let on Ball 3, and I declared to the computer (and the room) "That is BULLSHIT!".

But seriously, what button throws it against the wall, breaks the glass, then fills it with dynamite? For every run you submit there's about 6 you want to break the machine.

I'm throwing in my run now. I got... 2.1, 2.3 million, something like that. Not great, but better than all the 300 thousand runs I keep getting. I'm tired of losing balls after fifty thousand points.
I don't know why, but in this run I slammed the ball into one certain place and the game took it so hard that the five-by-five grid lit all the way up instantly. I don't know if that's a glitch or I tilted it (I tried to pause by pressing start and didn't realize what I was doing) or what, but there it is. I have a backup run of one million in the recycle bin if I've broken a rule somehow.

That's not a glitch, I think. It's just uncommon. You have to hit a certain spot at a certain time... or something.
Busy weekend...I will post the actual scoring results tomorrow.

I don't think anyone, except someone who likes TMNT maybe , wanted to play that game enough to beat his time. I went for something respectable, tried a few more times, then figured it was best left as part of my ROM collection only before I brainstormed some ways to poison the game.
If anyone is posting on YouTube instead of sending me a file, please PM me the link, I'm not going to search through this and guess if it's your submission or not.
Not being a dick I just need to know.
I have hundreds of videos prepared for various possible challenges.

Whatever it turns out to be, I'm sure it'll be some other obscure game I've never played and am incapable of playing well, and by extension some other thing I can fail at miserably. Bah! I'm going to run my own championship, with beer! And hookers!

Alright after a last minute decision I decided to change my original choice and choose another title in its place, FOR NOW, you will see the game I had originally choosen later on.
So on to the game. This week will be Contra. Not Super C, the Original Contra. Farthest you can get on one life with no power ups.

You made the Konami code not matter as well. I know a lot of people put their paths where the weapons are, including myself. So, stop the video when your second life jumps down from the clouds of Heaven to avenge your death right?

If I saw ONE person beat it in one life with no power-ups I'd be shocked. If two people can do it they both get first place then. This is a challenge I would personally not post a video of during the week. You don't really want people to know how far you got.
So from this day forward I am going to post a new rule starting this week.
No more uploading videos until the Challenge has officially closed.
This will not only make it more "Man, I hope no one got further then me.", but it also makes it a lot more fun to see the winning video.
Any video's will be deleted if it's during the contest period. This also includes links to the video, and descriptions of how far you got. I'm trying to instill the shock factor back into this.
I'm gonna have fun with it. Beat twice with 1 life? I think I can do that. Now I wish I had a controller rather the a keyboard. I'll think about buying one.
