I thought so too. But I've tried using both. If you get the white sword you can make up time with the darknuts. If you don't you've got to do twice as much work in those rooms for the same effect. This all hinges on how quick you get your Overworld work done to matter.
Hey! A new way to slow your time down. I was going into one of the caves with the Potion/Heart Container and the old man spent 3 seconds to appear! Hello! I'm on a schedule here! Too bad the game doesn't let you take him out.
I'm having file size issues, which probably means I've run way too long anyway, I noticed I had the key inputs turned on in my video, which looks neat and everything, but does anyone know if that bulks up file size? My file is pushing over 200mb, which I'll go ahead and say is about 13 minutes, which I'm certain isn't a winner.

I'm going to have to drop out of this one. I put like an hour into it over the weekend, but quickly realized it was going to take much more time than I was willing to put into it. I'll probably be back for next week's when I have more free time.

The problem with getting the White Sword is that blue Lynel guarding the entrance. If you're not lucky, that bastard will put two knives in you and that'll end your run. I tried that and got killed, and decided that eh, it's just one more stupid thing that ruins my time.
My problem this round was just that I overestimated how good I was at this game (by a long shot, o ho ho) and didn't give myself enough time to prepare. Next time I'll start off immediately and attack the challenge.
(Another problem is that I'm unemployed and my family's hounding me to get a job, so guilt starts to build up the longer I go without filling out/turning in applications... yet that doesn't stop me from slacking off in OTHER ways)

Keep in mind I picked this one, not Syd, so don't send him the anthrax in the mail.
This weeks challenge is fastest time to get from the "Start" screen (STAGE 1) to the last bomb in Stage 2 of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT). Again I apologize, but it's better to get the bad ones out of the way first right, RIGHT?
Again no codes or cheats. Time starts when you hit the "start" button, and finishes when you disarm the last bomb.
I have my AVI already done and I am pretty impressed with my time. It's gonna take some serious skill to match or beat it.
What's with all the haters on Zelda? The Legend of Zelda is an awesome game and we are all a little more awesome for having played it constantly for a week.
