Some SydLexia.com regulars will remember my decision to "out" myself as a college-educated Republican- and I address certain issues in the news/politics in this blog.
If you want to give it a read, feel free. It's not much right now. It'll take some time for me to be energized enough to regularly update.

The all caps "if you're young you should probably be a democrat" gave me a laugh. But really, there's enough politcal jibber-jabber on the intraweb, I'm just tired of it all, man.
By the way, I too lean more towards a republican viewpoint (I don't consider myself republican democrat, liberal or conservative. If I did, I'd have to defend one or the other, and I just like to blast 'em all 'cause I'm a dick), and I am also young. We should start a MySpace group or some shit.

Agreed, but the jibber-jabber of others doesn't really accomodate MY boredom. So I need to spout my own jibber-jabber to pass the time in between the time Syd updates his articles and YouTube features any more Zidane videos.

I'm just finishing up my Masters and it's the same for me man, surrounded by democrats. And the republicans (the few that are there) are too afraid to admit what they are - only by whispering it to you privately when you admit it to a class publicly. It's been an interesting experience, especially that one time I was called a fascist.

I'm thinking I'll really get into it sometime near the beginning of September. I'm starting my Doctorate at Penn State at the end of August and there is so much shit to do before and during August, it's unreal. I think once I'm settled in the sticks of Pennsylvania, I'll be able to really get into it.
Young Republicans do, indeed look at porn. We just can't tell the old Republicans about it- they'll try to convince me that I need church.

My US Social and Cultural history professor did. Almost all the rest admitted to being socialists.
