When you lend your friend, who makes 2-3 times more anually than you, $17 because he's too lazy to put something on his fucking debit card. Two weeks later, you come to collect and he swears up and down that it was $13 and refuses to give you the full $17. I hope you fucking choke to death on that four dollars, you bastard.

I've thought about putting a PayPal link on the site before, but I always felt it was kind of douche-y. I'd rather do merchandise, but the TV shirt sites out there don't let me do the sort of stuff that I want without paying all sorts of surcharges. Unless they've changed since the last time I looked. Which they might have.

Also, are we talking $4 American or $4 Canadian. At this point, I think I'd rather have the Canadian. Hell, the way the American economy is going, I might be converting ALL my money to Canadian.

I never lend money to anyone unless I can completely trust them. Otherwise they can suck it.

i dont mind lending people money. i know itll come around eventually. you know, i'll pay for lunch one day and then someone else will pay for lunch. or i'll cover the tab one day and someone else take care of it the next etc etc.

of course i wont allow people that are users to take advantage of me. i know a cheapskate when i see one and i'll hook them up very very little.

Nowadays, you just can't let anyone borrow your money, you have to trust whoever you're lending it to to pay you back. The best way to get someone to pay you back in full is to have them write out an IOU and set a deadline. Make up your own rules for late fees and the like but don't be a douche. If you can really trust the lendee, you don't need to go through all the hassle, but if you want your money back in full, you really need to take precaution. Oh yeah, taking someone out to lunch, etc. works just like cash. Set up an agreement ahead of time to avoid getting screwed, and most importantly, write it down, and maybe get a signature. Just my two cents plus one nickel.

Man this reminds me of a story I heard on NPR about selling your credit. Now that sounds crazy, but I guess it can be done, and some people do it.

I'm horrible at budgeting, but I usually don't worry much about amounts owed or owed to me. If I'm out somewhere and have the cash, I'd have no problem buying somoene food or a movie ticket or a nunch of alcohol, cause I know when I'm broke they'd do ti for me.

And that's why you do what Leppo from high school used to do: keep some paper and a writing utensil around to note what people owe you and make them sign it.

That's my general philosophy with my friends. However, I do have a couple moocher friends that I have learned not to loan money to or cover unless i don't plan on ever seeing the money again.

Torture them. Till they give you twice what you lent them. And them make them borrow more money (for profit!)

If a t-shirt is made, I'll buy one.

Thou, because I am wroth, be not dismayed, for I shall win the strife, whoever circle round within for the defence. This their insolence is not new, for of old they used it at a less secret gate, which still is found without a bolt. Above it thou didst see the dead inscription; and already on this side of it
descends the steep, passing without escort through the circles,
One such that by him the city shall be opened to us.

Does spreadshirt let me upload a gif with a transparent background so that I can have a design on a colored shirt and have it not look retarded?

I don't know, but there are ways around that.

Let me do some digging.

Did you just throw an ad on the message board?

Also, I usually play a game of borrow-tennis with my friends. For example, I'll buy Chinese for someone because they didn't have the cash, and then they'll reciprocate with something around the same cost. We use a "call it even" system, so for me this $4 thing wouldn't be an issue because I'd get it back in a favor down the line.

The problem is that I always have money, because I don't buy all that much stuff. So I never need people to lend me money. And if I started pretending I didn't have money just so I could get the guy to lend me money then never pay him back so that we're even, that would be amazingly lame.

I just use debit, and some places I go to don't take it. That's how it happens for me.

I've lent my friend money countless times over a few years, but only a couple bucks at a time. Still if I kept a tab on him he'd owe me about: $300
The bastard won't give me any of the money I lent him and when I refuse to lend him money he says
"why you gotta be like that?"

He's a bastard, seriously

I'm so bananas I'm showing up to your open casket,
to fill it up with explosive gases,
and close it back,
with a lit match in it,
while I sit back, and just hope it catches.

Blow you to fragments,
laugh,
roll you, and smoke the ashes.

This is worse than Picklegate Mad And it's exactly why I always make sure my friends know how much they owe me, or I always pay them back the next day
[i usually just don't have the money on me. I keep some stashed for emergencies Very Happy]
