This reminds me of the show "The Ultimate Gamer" (or whatever it's called). The "stunts" that they do are usually simplistic, stupid, not/overly elaborate, and way too obsessed with video games. The rest of the show is fairly interesting (minus the unnecessary room destruction), but some parts are over the top. Not to mention the show is hosted by the obnoxious Stryker.

I'd sign up for that, just for the hell of it, but then they'd see I play hockey and lift on top of my daily five or more hours of FFXI.

Don't get me wrong, outside of hockey, working out, and mandatory errands (fuck you, lawn. I wish my lawn were emo and lived in Arizona so the climate would be too dry for it to grow), I don't do much outside of FFXI.
