So I decided to read the whole series over again from the beginning, bleh, its melodramatic and very soap operaish. Neutral

Should I put it down and just read the ring wolrd trilogy again? Confused

It's good stuff no doubt, I was just thinking that if all the charecters were real people they'd have had nervous breakdowns and shit their pants by the second book. I did really enjoy his Debt of Bones short story, it was coole to get a little back story that was told from a real time angle instead of a historical perspective.

Hey if you're in the mood for reading fantasy, and want some really good much better than SoT books...

Try, George R. R. Martin's a song of ice and fire

Or Steven Erikson's Malaazan book of the fallen

Or Robert Jordan (who has sadly within the last week has passed away) Wheel of Time series... I woudl warn you about this one as the last book was only partially finished when he died, but it is very likely to be finished by his wife/close friends who he has divulged the entirity of the story too.
