I'm on book 32 out of 41 in the series of Magic: The Gathering novels. When this is finished...I don't know where to turn. I've grown so familiar with this series that I fret venturing out of the comforting world of the Multiverse. However, shortly, that will be unavoidable. So I turn to you, SydLexia.com forum members, for advice. Are any of you familiar with these novels, are there any similar series out there? I know of Forgotten Realms, Dragonlance, and Legend of the Five Rings, are any of those worth checking out?

And no, reading books outside the fantasy genre is not doable.

Read the Ravenloft series. Read them all. They're aren't overly heavy reads, but they're damn good.

You can't go wrong with R.A. Salvatore's Drizzt novels.

here another form of fantasy

-> Clive Barker's Thief of Always

it's not medieval fantasy but this is a tale about Harvey, an eight years old boy who kick asses Wink (1 tome, 3 books)

I second the Ravenloft series cause its my favorite series of the AD&D multiverse and i dont propose Dragonlance if you already know the serie...

Without Dragonlance there is no Lord Soth of Sithicus though.

Holy shits! I was just informed of an out of print series of Magic novels.

I must find these books, and purchase them.
