I thought Nintendo's stance on HD was that the Wii wasn't gonna support it?

How about a Metroid 2D side-scroller for the Wii...? Wink

Not a fan of the Prime games? I think your best chance will be on the DS. Have they done any DS-specific Metroid games other than Pinball? I don't have one so I couldn't say.

I have no real beef with the Prime games, but they're simply not my cup of tea. They really manage to translate the atmosphere of the originals to the FPS genre, but it's just not the Metroid I know and love. I might have been happier if there was a third-person POV mode.

However, I'm pleased that they've still been making the 2D games, like Fusion and Zero Mission. I'd just like to play them on a real screen.

Hence the invention of the Game Boy Player for the Cube heh. I'm assuming you know Zero Mission is just a remake.
