Anyone afraid of the protests tomorrow?

Thankfully, I don't need to be in Chicago where a major protest is expected to occur. Instead, I will be driving around town looking at how life would be different without the Hispanic population. Wal-mart, fast food joints, are a few of the places I intend to stop at.

How will you be celebrating/avoiding it? What's happening where you're at?

The goverment cracking down on people that sneak in. Give me a break when in reality we should use all this power to stop drugs and slave trafficing in the world.
Not tell people you can't enter the country anymore.

This is not 1980 something or 1950 like in the many movies seen people sneaking across the border to escape there country. No this is wrong and dead wrong I say.

America also needs less Pale and Char Coal looking people and more Tan skinned people since tthis will eliminate the diffrence between dark and light.

Before the massive political hijacking, the fact that today there's a planned "skip day" for Hispanic workers to show how much they affect the country's economy and make the US roll over and be quiet about the fact they've still broken the law.

Well, I drove past Grant Park on Lake Shore Drive a couple hours ago, and it didn't seem that massive. Didn't affect my day.

As for the issue - only in America can someone protest in order to be pardoned from a crime they freely admit to committing. If I was in the INS, I would be watching these rallies to know who to arrest tomorrow.

As you guys know, I'm in Georgia. In Atlance, there was only a protest turn out of about 2500 against obeying the laws of the country they think is so great. School attendance drops were negligible, and a lot of the other Hispanics going "Yeah man, sounds great, count me in" were out and about shopping and working.

One thing that really bugs me is they interviewed some African-Americans about their thoughts. One said that if they let an influx of Mexican workers into the workplace that the majority minorities like blacks would be laid off. The icing on the cake was one woman comparing this uproar to the Civil Rights Movement half a century ago, at which point I found myself blurting out loudly "Yes, but those people were in this country LEGALLY!!!"

Well it was immigration day today. Also my Mothers Birthday and after work ours man there was a lot of Spanish looking people besides the regulars. You should have listen to the Radio but this is taking place in various places like Manhattan. I wish it was Spanish/Latino day since you get to see all these out of towners from the Domican Republic and other various places with there Shoes and clothing with the flag on them unlike everything else here has ugly labels.

What I hate the most about it is nothing hey it's my Mothers birthday hurray Very Happy
