What do you guys think are the chances that OOT will come to the Switch? I've been jonsing to play again, but have no real way to do so.

Guess I could download a ROM....

They will probably never make one, so I would recommend downloading the ROM. Maybe try the 3DS version if you really want better graphics.

You don't have a 3DS, Soldierhawk? OoT on the 3DS is very good, especially if you like the 3D effect. Even if you don't, they did a good job with the conversion.

I do not have a 3DS, no. The Switch was the first console I've bought since the original PS2!

I've goofed around with ROMs, but I'm shit at getting a controller to work with my PC. Ah well...looks like its time to try again!

If you've got a Wii U, OoT is on the Wii U's virtual console.

It was also on the Wii's VC if you have a Wii, but the eshop is no longer alive. But if you're decent at following instructions and you can google "WAD injection," and can find one of the eshop's OoT roms somewhere on the internet, you can play it on the Wii that way.

I'm afraid never
it would make unnecessary competition with the BOW and also will not look as good as latest instalments in Zelda franchise. They probably could come up with the remaster of some sort but we could only dream about it

Next year is the 35th anniversary of the Zelda-Franchise.
There may be a good chance of Nintendo throwing out some older games, like they did with the 3D-Allstar-Game.
Maybe even the OoT- and Majora-Remaster from the 3Ds.

We'll see.

it was the best of times
