MTV's True Life breakout star Charlie Balducci, whose 2002 wedding was documented on the show, dead suddenly Saturday of causes yet unknown at 44 (birth date unknown).

Canadian actor and convicted sex offender Robert "Rob" Smith, best known for his role as the obnoxious patron-berating Scotsman in Alexander Keith's India Pale Ale commercials, not to be confused with the eponymous Cure frontman, dead in the last week or so of undisclosed causes at 54 or 55.

Note: He was also the voice of Teisel Bonne in the Mega Man Legends games, and I'm embarrassed I never made the connection.

And there's strong evidence he contracted it while attending the Tulsa campaign rally that health officials urged against holding. Totally worth it!

Wilford Brimley, age 85. Actor was best known for his roles in The Thing, The Natural and Cocoon. He was also the spokesman for Quaker Oats in the 90's. No word yet on the cause of death or if it was "diabeetus" related.

I had no idea he was famous previously. I thought he was just a random person who got famous from the diabetes commercials.
