The PS4 is pretty cheap now, compared to the launch price and you can grab Bloodborne for about 20 dollars with DLC and all (when on sale).

I went in on a PS4 for my Wife and I last summer and it has been a really nice gift. If you have more than just Bloodborne to enjoy on console, I'd highly recommend it. We've probably put a hundred hours into Dark Souls Remastered, Bloodborne, and Sekiro combined between us. She's put in a lot of time on Dark Souls 3, which I won't touch, I've put in a lot on DS2, which she won't.

I can get not jumping in on consoles though. I waited forever on getting a PS4 and basically replayed Oblivion and Fallout New Vegas a billion times on the PS3. I would have probably waited another year if she and I hadn't wanted to play so many of the newer things. I think this Christmas we might get a Switch for the same sort of reasons, that there will have been so many great games released by then.

So i got the platinum trophy for Bloodborne yesterday.
Doing the chalice dungeons was fun and all but after completing the game 3 times in such a short time i kinda got tired of it, yet still i managed to pull it off.

Now playing SotN on PS4. I just can't get tired of this game.

I have been playing it at least once a month since the game was originally released. It's my number 1, without a doubt.

Wow. That's what you call passion (or obsession) for a game.
SotN is also one of my all time favorites.
To bad i know every inch of both maps so i finished the game really quick.
Also i got the Crisseagrim and 2 rings of Varda as soon as possible, wich makes you so overpowered that even Galomoth (Boss with the highest HP) goes down in less than 10 seconds ^^
Well, also chugged an Attack-Potion to top it off ^^

I actually can't think of any videogame weapon that is as aggressively op as the Crisseagrim.
As soon as you equip it the game just goes from "Hey! Here have mildly challenging experience!" to "PLEASE DON'T FUCK UP DAT FINAL BOSS SO QUICKLY!!".

So SotN is finished, now playing Yakuza 0

Fun fact: In SoTN, you can only acquire the Ring of Varda on a replay. The item is not available until you have beaten the game once.

Yeah, i killed all the necessary bosses that drop the body parts of Dracula so i can fight him as soon as possible then i farmed the ring twice and did all the other (optional) bosses and areas that are still left.
