John Wetton just died. After Phil Lesh, my username's namesake, he was my favorite bassist. Most people know him from Asia, but the work he did with Red era King Crimson is what made me love his stuff.

Charlie Murphy passed away today at age 57, after a battle with leukemia.

His final tweet was "One to Sleep On: Release the past to rest as deeply as possible."

I very much enjoyed his contributions to Chappelle's Show and The Boondocks. Rest in peace, my good sir.

Chris Cornell, lead singer of Soundgarden and Audioslave (and also sang in Temple Of The Dog), was found dead at the age of 52, most likely suicide. RIP, man. Superunknown is one of my all time favorite albums.
