Wes Craven was a legend. Maybe he'll make appearances in peoples nightmares now that he is dead.

He appeared on a Castle episode a couple years back. One of the episodes this season has to be in his memory now, as was done for Stephen J. Cannell.

Classic Silver Age comic book artist Murphy Anderson. One of the greatest inkers of all time. He probably drew my favorite Hawkman.

Aww damn. Always bums me out when a classic creator dies. Most of them are unsung heroes. Case in point, I've never heard of him. It's a damn shame to consider that these guys were nobodies working for a measly paycheque while creating legendary artwork.

Looking back, it's amazing it took this long to happen, given the two documented decades plus of systemic drug abuse.

Regarding Velvet Revolver, Guns 'N Roses made the fourth-best video of 1988 and the second-best video of 1992.

Lemmy Kilmister, frontman of the band Motorhead, dead at age 70.

They came to St. Louis a couple years ago but I ended up not getting a ticket at the time because I didn't have the money and I assumed they'd be around again in a couple years. Looks like that was a mistake. Sad

Shame about Lemmy, but at least he didn't have a long drawn out battle with cancer. Dead 2 days after diagnosis. Motorhead was probably the loudest band I have ever heard live.

God fucking dammit. I am so fucking heartbroken. I had a shot of whiskey for him last night, and have been listening to Motörhead all day. I'm really happy I saw them live when I did.
