This is one reason why I'm glad our forum is homemade. It's so easy nowadays for these bots to get signed up and then start spamming everywhere automatically on any typical, commercially available forum software. I've had some attempts to do that, but it doesn't go anywhere because the forum engine is too peculiar. Spammers have to basically do everything manually, and that's not something they like wasting their time with.
Seriously though... whose life is being wasted initiating this crap?

"Oh, I surf the internet looking for random forums that I can activate a bot program in so that it spams the forum with stupid posts full of links nobody cares about."
