Larger than, orbiting and older star. It is currently named Kepler-452b, because scientists are not only godless, they are soulless, artless, and their spirit contains no sense of poetry. Chances are more likely than not, by a fairly slim margin, that has a surface, i.e., is not a gas giant. It almost certainly contains an atmosphere, though said atmosphere's chemical makeup is currently unknown.
Exciting.

I can't wait to hear about any spectroscopy reports on these planets. If they find anything like large amounts of oxygen, ozone, or even chlorophyll (I can only hope), then I will be a very happy camper. Science is awesome.
