I assume that many of the rest of you are staying home due to massive amounts of ice and snow. What are you doing instead of work?
Myself, I am drinking a Guinness and watching Ice Station Zebra, because I am a man.

I don't let ice, snow and bitter cold rule my actions. Got stuff to do, gotta stay busy. I'll probably have a drink later tonight and play some video games.

Our office is closed today. Not even the CEO wanted to brave this shit.

A couple weeks ago my office was closed cuz of snow, but we're open today. No snow here, just bitter cold. My wife's school where she works is closed for President's Day though, so she's at home.

We've got snow coming this evening, so all classes before 11:45 AM tomorrow are canceled. Unfortunately, my classes don't start until 11:45, so I'm hoping we get hit real good.
As for tonight, Mega Man 1-6.

This should have been the snowstorm that forced me home from MAGFest a day early. The actual one was such a downer.

Tennessee has declared a state of emergency and it's unlikely we'll be in the office again until Thursday. I guess I have no choice but to play the Diddy Kong Racing snow levels a whole bunch for two days.

Today it's snowing where I live, woke up to several inches of snow. Thankfully it's the light and fluffy variety. I sure do love shoveling snow. Glad I don't live in Massachusetts.
Hey Syd, how has the snow been in your area? Don't you live close to Boston? Stay safe and warm man!

I'd rather go in today and tomorrow. I'll be working Saturdays to make this up.

Oh damn, yeah, when it just causes you to make up the work on a weekend or causes your workload to be overwhelming later, it sucks.

Up here in Canada, the sun is shining, and it's unseasonably warm.

I am not compelled to go into work on snow days, but we are open, even in state of emergencies, so I can go in if I want to. So I've gone into work every snow day.

And I'm just sittin' here in SoCal, in 75-80F, completely blue sky weather...
EDIT: just realized that sounded douchy, but I'm honestly not trying to brag. I hate this weather, and miss snow and seasons so badly.

On the Eastern side of the country, the snow banks are high and it's in the -20 Celsius area.

I used to be indifferent to snow, but I live in a tiny, poorly insulated shack in the backyard, so for the past two months I've been sleeping in the living room inside the house. It sucks immensely to never really have privacy or quick access to much of my stuff including my bed unless the Earth decides I get to. The irony is that the day before this all started, I bought a bunch of insulation to put on the walls that need it most.

Managed to make it into the office yesterday afternoon when the roads went from impossible to travel to merely improbable, and I snagged my work computer. We got a bunch more snow and ice last night, but now I'll be working from home for the rest of the week.
