I liked Parallel Worlds, although it can be frustratingly hard at times. I think a hack that's a little harder than Link to the Past but easier than Parallel Worlds would be perfect. BTW Link to the Past was super easy after playing Parallel Worlds.

Also "Ancient Stone Tablets", although I don't think it's a hack. I think it's a version only released in Japan or something. Plays like LttP.

Finally started a game of Outlands the other day. I've gone through (what you can) of the first dungeon and I like the difficulty. It's definitely challenging, but it's not crazy^2 like I remember Parallel Worlds being... but who knows. I've only been through that one dungeon.

Outlands I think has a good challenge level. Parallel Worlds challenge level however can seem extreme to some. I was determined to beat it though. It took me a year or so of off and on playing, but I pulled it off.

I would like to beat Parallel Worlds. I gone through a few of the super-difficult SMW-based games (granted, sometimes with save states galore) and that was fun. Playing hours trying to screw jump a long series of podoboos can be frustrating, haha.

There's some Super Metroid hacks out there I may want to try. Just to see if they're any easier than Super Metroid Redesign. That game is ridiculous. I've made it to Tourain, however I've missed out on so many items due to the fact that they seem impossible to get.
