Yesterday me and my wife had a movie marathon. We watched The 40 Year Old Virgin, Knocked Up, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Get Him To The Greek, Wedding Crashers, The Wedding Singer, and I, Robot. I enjoyed all of them.

Lol. Well, our 11 month old woke us up early, so we just popped in a movie while looking after him, and basically just did that all day. Considering how things usually are at my house, it felt great to just be lazy as fuck. Very Happy

When The Last Sword Is Drawn (2003)

A film about the ending of the samurai era told through the memories and flashbacks of 2 characters. Not a martial arts run-away flick at all, but a pretty cool look at family life, war time, and the passing of an era.

I'm still watching the Jason Kills Everyone movie series. I saw part V. I think they are all pretty much the same. According to IMDB number IV is the one with the most nudity

They are all fantastically stupid movies and well worth watching through the series at least once a year. Part IV is probably my favorite, followed by III then VI.

Just watched Matrix and The Matrix Reloaded, now I'm prepping for the final installment. I've seen them before, but only once and it's been awhile.

I watched Dogtooth. It's a Greek movie. I have never seen a Greek movie before. It is about a family that lives in complete isolation and the parents lie to their unnamed children into thinking outside is dangerous and deadly. only the father goes out. By car. To the mysterious outdoor. It's pretty good!

I watched Monster Squad, Neverending Story, and Return to Oz with friends last night. Epic movie night.

...Though, this led to the discovery on imdb that a NeverEnding Story is listed as currently in development. Whether anything comes of this more than likely remake remains to be seen, as there isn't yet a cast list, director, or even producers or writers listed (unless you have imdb pro).

Saw the new Evil Dead last night. I wouldn't have went if my friends didn't go and decide to pay for me, because to be honest I thought the original kind of sucked. That said I thought the new one was pretty good. Surprisingly so. Parts of it were actually scary, parts were simply ridiculous with showers of "blood." It managed to keep the spirit of the original while being better in pretty much every single way possible.

I would say that there is one inescapable way that the new Evil Dead movie can surpass the original. The main character is not Bruce "THE MAN" Campbell.

Saw the new Evil Dead a couple days ago. It was pretty alright, although some of the dialogue was ridiculously hammy (and throughout the movie I kept wondering how dialogue this cheesy was still being written in 2013). I also watched the original Evil Dead for the first time last night and I can say that the new one doesn't even come close to matching the intensity of the original movie.

Watched the fifth Harry Potter movie the other night and, meh. Kind of reminded me why I stopped watching them after 4.

With your imagination he will look like Bruce Willis in his later years.

I watched King Kong, and happy to say I still found it enjoyable. We bought the super-ultra-deluxe extended versionso still haven't made it through all the special features.

A bud and I watched Django Unchained last night. I admit a general fondness for Quentin Tarantino flicks, and Christoph Waltz continues to amaze me. This movie is brought to you by the color red!

Ender's Game. I couldn't think of a better kid to get the role of Ender.

Finally finished Brazil the other night, think I need to see it again, very odd movie. Comical one moment, and then very dark the next with quirkiness added throughout. Also surprised at the chritsmas-y stuff throughout, may watch it again around christmas.

Seemingly random role for Robert De Niro, definitely enjoyable though.

If you're worried about support Scott, don't. Remember that Disney handled the production, so they tweaked a few things (the whole sidestory with Ender's siblings was dropped for the sake of pacing, Ender is never stated to have killed anyone, only placing them in traction/the hospital, and Peeta goes with him to check out the hive instead of Valentine). If you've read the book, the big twist at the end loses some of its punch, but I would definitely recommend seeing it.
