I just want to say that the more of these you write, the more I want. Your last two reviews alone have got that "It must be mine" urge rising in me.

This is a good one, Transformers Prime Arms Micron Dark Matter Caliber Team!

http://zaraksbarracks.blogspot.com/2012/08/arms-micron-dark-matter-caliber.html

In other words, three little robot animals that transform into weapons and then combine together to form a big freakin' sword!

I totally bought this with the intention of giving it to Syd as he loves Reagan, but well...read the review!

http://zaraksbarracks.blogspot.com/2012/08/kid-robot-x-frank-koziks-goon-squad.html

Basically, it's a mini bust of punk-rock Reagan!

The Barracks return with a look at the Kingdom of the Sea Death Heart Deck, from Takara-Tomy's brand spanking new Beast Saga line, the spiritual successor to Battle Beasts. (You know, those little animals in armor with the wood, water, fire rub signs on their chests.)

What's the price on one of those? For no articulation and random-draw I hope it's pretty cheap.

I wonder if painting the seam black would help the look of it?

The store I bought it from wanted $4.99, which is cheap for blind boxes, some of those things can get absurd. For comparison, the Goon Squad blind boxes were ten bucks a pop, for a vinyl bust slightly larger than the turrets with no paint aps. I feel the turrets are decently priced at five bucks, but I'm guessing the average you'd pay online would be more around seven or eight because, hey it's the internet. As for the seam, I imagine it would be pretty easy to carefully smooth out the section over the eye with a dremel or sandpaper and repaint that spot if you had the skill.

Here's another Lego custom, this one I'm pretty proud of. It's called the Phage Drone and it's based on the real-world bacteriophage. Which for those of you not familiar with viruses, is a type of virus that attacks bacteria cells and injects them with it's own genetic material, essentially mutating them into mini factories that pump out billions of exact copies of the bacteriophage. My drone is similar except it parasitises capital ships in space fleets and puppets them against their own allies. Enjoy.

I've started writing again after a long-ass time, there's a few new reviews up but this is the most recent:

http://zaraksbarracks.blogspot.com/2014/12/deforming-foam-bullet-blaster.html

An off-brand Nerf gun that turns into an off-brand Transformer. It's pretty sweet.

Pretty neat! My friend and I played with action figures and had Nerf Wars all the time as kids. If we had these back then it might've been too perfect.

His packaging says Wildspeaker but his sculpt says Apex Predator. Get ready for a real nerdy entry on Funko's Magic: The Gathering, Legacy Series Garruk, Wildspeaker.
