Fixing supposed plot holes in movies

Okay, the point of this thread is to bring to light things in movies that are incorrectly regarded as plot holes, errors, etc. I'll start with Terminator 2: Judgment Day.

A video I saw on Cracked had a guy pointing out that
1) There should have been no reason for Skynet to wait a decade before sending another Terminator
2) The T-1000 shouldn't be able to travel in time, since it's made of liquid metal and not living tissue

I have the solution to both.
1) There are never any clues given as to the precision of the time travel technology. The first T-800 may have been only able to be sent to "before John Connor was born" rather than some specific date and time.
2) In the decade between the two events, it is entirely possible that Skynet developed and improved the technology to the point that certain nonliving things could be sent back.
