Eminem recently got prank called by an 18 year-old rapper from Windsor, Ontario from his ex-wife Kim’s stolen cell phone.
Kyle Pratt stole Kim’s phone while she was taking a smoke break in front of his family’s Windsor bingo hall. Though he returned the phone shortly thereafter, he jotted down Eminem's phone number first.
So what do you do if you’re an aspiring rapper and have the biggest MC in the world’s digits? You call him up and ask him to listen to your demo, of course!
“He was a real a–hole,” Spratt said. “He pretended it wasn’t him and he did a fake voice.”
Turns out, Pratt recorded his chats with the cops and Slim Shady and has since used the recordings on a song called “Slim Sellout,” which he posted on his MySpace page. The song attracted 1,400 hits to Pratt’s page, but was removed last week after the teen was paid a visit from Windsor detectives.
And THAT, kids, is how you launch a rap career!
