That was pretty much how it ended up the first time. I wanted the 'e' to evoke the swirl background and the first time I drew the 'h' it had a sort-of 2 quality to it, so I made it into the 2.

I'm a fan of ligature.

Here's one where I wish Flipnote had an extra layer/color, or a brightness level. In the first, the character blends too much into the background:


With a red background it separates nicely but I lose the character highlights:


I threw it into Photoshop to adjust the background, quick and dirty:



Oh well, I still like it.

Couldn't decide which coloring I liked better.



Then I took it into Photoshop and went all Andy Warhol:

Yeah, I WISH I had a 3DS, especially the new XL. I love my DSiXL; I use it, with no homebrew, almost as much as my PSP loaded with it.

That program looks awesome, too. I'll have to remember that if I ever do get one.

It started as one character, but I decided to try out the 'copy and paste' and 'shrink' functions.
