I was just watching The Big Lebowski on Comedy Central and in the scene where Walter smashes that guy's car to try to get that kid to give them the money, instead of yelling "This is what happens when you fuck a stranger in the ass Larry!" he is edited to say "This is what happens when you find a stranger in the Alps Larry!" which is just as, if not more, funny than the real line. Reminded me of a couple other really classic TV edits I've heard.

"Would have to be one charmin' mighty-friendly pig." instead of "One charming, mother-fuckin' pig," from Jules' pig speech in Pulp Fiction of course.

And of course "Yippikiyay Mr. Falcon" instead of "Yippikiyay, mother-fucker" in Die Hard.

Anybody else heard some good uns'?

Anything from Mallrats. I'll dig up my USA copy later. I love that PG version.

I can't watch the parts where Jason Mewes talks in that version because it's really disorienting.

Yeah, he suddenly sounds 40 years old and like some douche trying to be cool. I just love the new rants cause no one can keep up with Mewes' speed.

You know what's funny? I was going to start this thread earlier with the single greatest edit ever...from Half Baked.

"Yeah, get me a box of condoms, and, what was that thing we used to eat back in the day? What was it... oh yeah, pudding.

If you don't know what was switched up in that sentence, I don't want to know you.[/list]

Didn't one of the Die Hard movies change the quote to "Yippikyay, melon farmer!" for TV?

The prophet Mohammed was supposed to appear on Family Guy on Sunday, but it was censored.

The TV version of Vacation is actually better than the theatrical version. "Who do I look like? Christopher Columbo?" LOL

And speaking of superior TV versions, "Child's Play 2" is better seen on TV as they edit back in the subplot of the foster parents. I loved those two... why'd they have to die Crying
