Yeah, I'm starting a crappy rating thread... It's one to five stars rating here to rate the song above you. You don't need to quote the song above you, just rate the song above you between 1-5 stars(whole numbers please) and maybe the reason you feel that way and your song to be rated.

Normally not into Tool, but I liked that track. I think I may have skipped over when I was younger because it had a more eclectic intro. One of my favorite songs from one of my favorite albums:

So here's to you Mrs. Robinson. People love you more- oh, nevermind.

Love the rhythm, the lyrics fit the music well and I find the mood it evokes quite enjoyable.

Here is one of my favorite songs:

This is a cool thread idea!

That song above gets a 5/5 because I've always loved Eddie Vedder's voice and that song showcases it.

4/5. My first instinct is to hate it, but its one of those bizarre songs that I can't help but enjoy a bit.

Great song if you like 80's pop. But I don't. Growing up, I think my babysitter would listen to that song.

5, Fuckin' A, I love this song. The Syncopation in the breakdown is so perfect. King Crimson had some of the greatest musicians playing in their group.

If I had to make a "top songs" list, this would probably be #3:

4/5 I used to listen to this back when I worked as a waver at Liberty. I always loved their sound but I found it really easy to get burnt out on them. This is and "One More Red Nightmare" are my personal favorites.

About a 3/5 for the Nuetral Milk guys. Not a terrible song, just not my type of music. Since Nuetral Bob didn't post one I guess I will..

2/5 The vocals ruin it (I hate that particular type of distortion), and the music is sort of bland . Confused

2/5

The production was terrible, the song itself was generic 1980s. Overall it's not a bad song but it's not a great or in anyway a good song, it was actually pretty boring. If it came on the radio and i was driving i wouldn't turn off or anything. It sounds like one of those background noise sort of songs that plays but you don't really listen to it.

Just really not my sort of thing. Too slow and blech and generic.

What I happened to be listening to at the moment

1/5- Every second in that song produces something new to piss me off.

Not my favorite Femmes song, but happened to be playing:

So here's to you Mrs. Robinson. People love you more- oh, nevermind.

3/5. Really catchy, but I almost wish there was more instrumentation (or at least something going on in the background).

4.5/5. I LOVE older EBM stuff like that (I actually consider that one of my music fetishes).

3/5 in the wrong mood, 5/5 in the right mood. That's one of my hang-ups with Wilco. They're the perfect music for me, but only in the right circumstances.

Heard this on the local college station a while ago, and I've been listening to it a lot, unusual considering I hate most of George Thorogood's music, but he somehow improved upon a Johnny Cash song.

So here's to you Mrs. Robinson. People love you more- oh, nevermind.

2/5 I'm not a huge fan of Thorogood or Johnny Cash, however I have to say 2/5 is rather generous by me considering I absolutely loathe most country music. To be fair, old country is far better than the newer absolutely unlistenable shit.

3/5. They remind of me of an industrial Tears For Fears. They sound like one of those bands were if i listened to more of their stuff i may like. This song was pretty good though.
