In an attempt to get to know everyone here a little better, I wanted to do one of those cheesy "answer the following" things. I just wanted to know who your favorite characters were in the following areas. If you don't like a character that someone else does, please don't comment on it, as it will just incite more arguments than we already have. Here's my list:
Movie (Live Action): R.J. MacReady ("The Thing")
Movie (Cartoon/Other): Ashitaka ("Princess Mononoke")
Book: Hazel ("Watership Down")
Comic Books: Deadpool (Yes, he may be a cheap rip-off, but he's a cheap rip-off that I like)
Television (Cartoon/Other): Bucky ("Bucky O'Hare")
Television (Live Action): Michael Bluth ("Arrested Development")
Video Games (N64 and up): George Hamilton ("RE: Outbreak and File #2")
Video Games (Prior): Zitz ("Battletoads")
Eh. That's it. Hopefully nothing terribly wrong arises from this. Feel free to add a category if you wish.

This thread might also help on the "who are all you crazy people" part.

His favorite hockey team perhaps?
I don't watch much hockey but I'm more of a fan of the Islanders myself.

I promise I'll actually fill out this survey, but I would like to ask why George Hamilton? I love all the characters of the Outbreak series, but Hamilton seems like an odd choice to me. I'd like to hear why you chose him.

Mostly because he's the closest person to me (personality-wise only) in the outbreak series. Ripped from Wikipedia (but I'm pretty sure it's in the manual as well):
"Although he is not a person who likes to take the lead under pressure, he has a cooperative, open-minded spirit and the ability to naturally acquire the trust of others."
Not to mention the fact that I love his special tackle in the series.
Also, one of my favorite gaming achievements was achieved using George. I was playing the final level of the first outbreak online with four other people. Two of them quit almost immediately, which left myself and another player (as Mark) alone to beat the level in Very Hard by ourselves. Not the hardest thing in the world to do, but I was still relatively happy when we beat it.

Cool stuff. I like George because he isn't a leader. Sorry, but I'm going to bring "Lost" in for a moment to compare archetypes, Jack is the token doctor on that show and he becomes the de facto leader. He has many of the same qualities of George, but the big differences are temper and leadership. A more shy doctor who people would naturally look up to seems appealing to me. If I recall, George is even the one with the 3 C's: cool, collected, calm. That there's an interesting character. Alas, there's not much for his character to do in those games storywise. If I recall he got gypped on the expanded background based on his personal objects (which expanded Kevin and Yoko). He had a "cheap watch" which I assume means something special to him, sense he's a rich surgeon, but that's never explored. He likes to travel based on his other special items. And one of his costumes was an outdoors rescue uniform, which serves that he's gone on location to help people in an emergency. I really want to like him more, but his story elements needed to be more fleshed out. But I'm glad you support him.
