Try Internet Explorer. It works better with the new webclient than FireFox seems to. Also, one of the random servers it connects to doesn't seem to like the new webclient.
Just keep trying. Or you can use mIRC or Chatzilla.

Thirded on Chatzilla, it's a Firefox add-on and is also quite simple to use.
Whatever your choice, you may also want to look at the Sydapedia IRC article for other tips.

If you are going to use the IRC a lot you are probably better off getting a client than using the webclient. The webclient will kick you every 5 minutes you don't say anything anyway, so it makes lurking pretty much impossible. I guess if it is a work computer and you can't install even chatzilla or something it is nice to have the webclient, but if you are at home you are better off with something else.

Yeah, +1 on chatzilla. My web connection might fail me, but chatzilla never has.

You gotta toggle the galvatron reaction core, then after that you must go into the dik.4 files and transverse the alternator by changing the settings on the ultimate nullifier.
after you do that go into the googlebot folder, turn on buffer underrun protection (to stop a baroque cancel) and get the alpha countering settings. open that in notepad, scroll down about three fourths of the way, and look for a part that says something about a K.I.L.R.O.Y. protocol. You might have to double check this in double zeta settings. see if that's set to RX-78 or not, and copy paste that here.
After that I'll tell you what you should do to get it working.

If you are using the webclient it seems krypt is the one that always gives me issues. Try logging on later or try the other suggestions listed.
