so, i was @ bookmans the other night and i bought this: Sir Charles Barkley & the Referee Murders. http://www.amazon.com/Sir-Charles-Barkley-referee-murders/dp/0944599710/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1254374927&sr=8-1
its a comic book thats pretty damn cheesy. nothing great, just a simple detective story and barkley playing the detective role.
at any rate, the point of this thread is to see if anyone has bought anything similar. not in terms of basketball players, but in terms of a cheesy buy. because of the main character, or because the story was ridiculous. so, please share if possible, or not. either way, i bought that for $4, and im pleased w/my buy

I didn't buy it, but I saw a copy of Macbeth for Kids at the bookstore today...can you imagine what kind of a mindfuck that'd be?

If Barkley can grow into a giant with the help of a magic coin and fight Godzilla in a game of hoops then this is nothing.

I once bought a comic that said on the cover, "Not a 'What If'! Not a dream! Aunt May and Franklin Richards battle Galactus!" All I really remember is a giant twinkie that ended up being a planet and there was a big alien that looked like the Michellin man. Can't remember how they wrapped the whole thing up. Anyway, it was $2 and I consider it a crown jewel in my comic collection.

so, i recently bought another charles barkley book: http://www.amazon.com/Sir-Charles-Wit-Wisdom-Barkley/dp/0446602302/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1256618559&sr=8-1
The Wit and Wisdom of Charles Barkley. its basically a collection of all his quotes on different subjects.
On pressure: "Pressure is for tires"
On why blacks excel at basketball: "It doesn't cost anything to play."
On Refs: "I don't listen to the refs. I don't listen to anyone who makes less money than I do."
"We don't need refs. but I guess white guys need something to do. All the players are black."

After watching Up In The Air I'm reading the original book on my Kindle.
