It was deliberate and the entire first run of those Jeter cards are like that.
#edit: by deliberate I mean someone that worked there inserted the stuff in. It wouldn't have been Topps management's idea, though I know they're not complaining

Well Bush being in the crowd is a nice gag, but Mickey Mantle, who's been dead for over a decade now, probably wasn't really in the dugout during that particular at bat. Just sayin'

Are you sure they haven't had him pumped full of enbalming fluid like Lenin, and they just brought the corpse out for that shot?
How is it a misprint if they intentionally put something in there?

I better intraoffice joke would have been a voice bubble coming out of Jeter's mouth that said "I am an overrated player on a thouroughly detestable team and I have sex with men."
