In the IRC I had this wild idea of doing a collaborative project amongst forum members. I figured a video mashup type thing where everyone donates short clips of video you recorded or made. So, I'm looking for people with digital cameras or camcorders to get crackin' and make up some short videos which we will later pass around and patch together a larger video with.

So, if you're in, just respond or PM me, or I'm usually in the IRC too, any way is fine.
I haven't gotten all the details ironed out yet so feel free to incorporate any ideas on how this could be improved upon.

Yeah, I was thinking maybe 5 second clips in mp4 format? Unless someone has a better idea? [edit] Either that or we'd all have to agree on a program to use and just use the project file.

As for content, anything would be fine and open to discussion amongst the group.
[edit] There's a lot of stuff we still need to discuss, so I think we're going to shoot for an October start date. Until then, its open discussion.

Pretty much random yeah. I'm thinking along the lines of grab your camera and record anything interesting and once a week or so our group will review the footage and generate ideas on how it could be sequenced in a video.

Again, this project is in its infancy. Contribute your ideas, I want this to be a collaborative effort, meaning that everyone will have a part in every aspect of the project. And ideas are really what I need right now, that and more participants.
