Samus in a bikini did always make me kind of sad. I was never a good enough Metroid player as a kid to get that ending; I was just happy there was actually a cool kick-ass space fighter who was also a girl. When I found out she stripped for guys who were good at playing video games...well. That wasn't a happy day.

In all fairness, she didn't limit her clothing reduction to just men. She would break out the bikini for men, women, boys, girls, and anyone/anything else that could beat the game quickly.

I'd like to think that moving through Zebes so quickly caused her to break a sweat and therefore she felt compelled to air out the suit. I'm not sure how the fuck she breathes without it, but assuming that she could, getting out of the suit and cleaning it was probably a top priority.

Another thought; Samus is from the future. What if wearing less clothing is just good fashion sense in the future? I mean, in today's world girls are doing that anyways. Compare what girls wear to school now to what they wore in the 80's. Frumpy tie-die t-shirts aren't exactly "in" at the moment. I see a lot more spaghetti strapped tank tops with low cuts.

I'm just saying, lets not blame Samus for this, or if we do, at least lets agree that she isn't sexually biased.

And let's not forget Metroid Fusion and Zero Mission would have the screen shots at the end in her various different clothes and armor. Pretty much mandator fan service versus actual integrity.

I'm pretty sure the unfortunate sight of pig anus is present in both StarTropics and its sequel, Zoda's Revenge.

I feel slightly better now, GP. Thank you.

Hey, I pointed that out first! And I saw that Syd had corrected it accordingly before you made your post.

I'll admit that blowing up Ed's hamster was one of the first things I did with Maniac Mansion just because I read it was possible. As a bonus, being killed by Ed would sometimes enable the ghost glitch and give you back control of your dead kid. On top of that, you could even grab the hamster while the microwave was running so you'd have both a living and exploded one to give to Ed in your inventory.

I think you can feed it to the man-eating plant as well, I know you can feed the meteor to it anyway.

In the PC version, Ed is told that the meteor wants his hamster and an electric cattle prod.

Oh, gay jokes.

If you look this one is worse because the arm that goes being the head looks like a penis so he's actually blowing him.

The subtitle for StarTropics II is supposed to come before the main title.

I am aware, and I did that on purpose as part of the joke nature of the page.
