Have you ever gone to the grocery store, Walmart, Burger King, or other public place, only to find someone has left their infant or young child unattended in their vehicle? That fucking pisses me off! I'm mad enough when people leave their pets in cars, but a child? Fucking idiots!
I've devised a plan for parents who don't think their children are important enough to warrant bringing them into the store with them!

I will bring a note pad with me everywhere. Written in the notepad will be this letter:

Hello Caring Parent,
You should be thankful that I'm not a kidnapper, pedophile, or car jacker. Because if I was, you'd be a sad parent right now. By leaving your kid in the car, you're putting them at an enormous risk. It takes a matter of seconds to unbuckle a child and take with you, and that extra second can make the difference between having a happy safe child, and a child raped and murdered in a ditch somewhere.
So, think about that next time you think you're too busy to bring your child with you.

I would then either hand this to the child (if they are the dumbest of dumb and leave the window rolled down) or attach it to the windshield on the drivers side, where they'll really see it.... I hope that this would teach them a lesson.

This reminds me of the time that I was walking with Valdronius to the mall, we had to cross an intersection... 2 cars went through the red light, a third car (obviously with well enough time to see the red light) slammed their breaks but still manages to have their big van all the way across the crosswalk. Had we started walking when the "walk man" appeared, she would have killed us. Now, we had to choose between walking behind the van and risk not being seen, or in front of the van and risk getting hit! We choose to go behind the van... I hit the back bumper - open handed - while walking by. The lady FREAKS out, screams that she's calling the police, yelling that we'd better wait on the other side of the road. We laugh... but she was serious.
She gets over to us, cell in hand, screaming about us hitting her car. The police arrive within 5 minutes (I've never seen such lightning speed from the city police)... she starts ranting about children in today's society and BLA BLA BLA... about 5-10 minutes go by... she even claims that we had cursed and given her daughter the finger... total lie and her daughter was about 30 years old and could've spoken for herself... they ask her if her car was damaged? Her reply "I don't know, I never checked" Stupid bitch! They basically tell us not to do that again, tell her to "learn to drive" or something, and we leave on our merry way! I still laugh about it to this day... and Valdronius thought we were going to jail for sure - it was priceless!

Good that you or whoever would be pissed! At the least my actions would have an effect. Just think of how pissed you'd be to find your kid in an abandoned shack somewhere, murdered, because you were in a rush to get wherever...

I don't like correcting people on technicalities, but making a remark about being a Jew is not racist - Judaism is a religion. So, it would be more of a "religicism".

Fun fact: the term "religicism" was only coined in the early 90s and has yet to be officiated into the English language.

I guess you can't read. I said that the child was left UNATTENDED. I don't think this situation applies to what I was talking about at all! But, glad to know you have something productive to say.

I'm not saying that I would notice everything. I never claimed to be omniscient. My example referred to the parents that you see walk INTO A STORE, leaving their kid behind. You're taking what I said and expanding it way beyond what I said. I set a specific example of someone walking into a store like Walmart, BK, etc. and you're taking it like anyone who steps out of their car deserves to be scared by a note. That's not what I meant.
If I did see a kid unattended in a car, I would consider staying nearby to watch, just to make sure the kid was alright. It's not as though children haven't been kidnapped in broad daylight from shopping malls even! (see John Walsh, host of AMW) . I know I'm not the only person to have a sense of public duty on this. A friend of mine, Micah, was in Walmart one day, saw a toddler (one and half year old boy) alone in a shopping cart. He waited a few feet away for 8 minutes when the "mother" finally came back! She was nowhere in sight for 8 minutes! There was no one else in the aisle, and she came back holding clothes that were from a different part of the store. I'm not saying the kid would have been taken, but it would've been awful fucking easy.
