Edit: Forgot to Resze Pic. Image
The electric is a Ibanez GAX30 I got in a Jumpstart Pack with the amp today, because I can barely fit my arms around the acoustic to play. The acoustic is my dad's old Avalon. I'm still learning the basics on the DVD that came with the Ibanez. My teacher is Paul Gilbert.

Not too many people would be better to learn from than Paul Gilbert.

My first guitar was an Ibanez as well, solid bridge so I can adjust the action, makes it great for shredding.

Yeah, Paul is a good teacher. Anyway, as a sidenote, the Avalon's strap is a Rock Band 2 guitar strap with a piece of string attached.

Ibanez makes a quality guitar. I had one of those fancy pants BC Rich guitars a few years back, sold it right back to the shop and picked up my Ibanaz again.

Seriously, stop reviving dead threads if there's nothing new to contribute

My first guitar was a fender. I don't see what Blackout didn't like about his B.C. Rich, I love them.

Hey now, she was merely impressed by Togdor's entry level guitars, that can be considered as relevancy.

On that note, since you have had those guitars a few months now Togdor, how is it going?

It's very good to learn on an electric and an acoustic, they are both very different yet similar worlds.

Don't go easy on her just because she's a she. Necroposting is necroposting and we all have to follow the rules. Saying "awesome!" is not contributing at all, and no reason to bump a 6 month old thread.

I'd like to know what's up with the "Snakes!" DVD in the background there. Seems like an odd thing to be at the top of the pile.

Relax brah, I was being sarcastic/busting Jeebus's balls, besides I was legitimately interested in Togdor's progress on the guitar.

Also, the thread is only 5 months old. Kefka!
