Sting reportedly wants to retire when his current contract is up. Whether or not this will happen is debatable. He's one of the greatest wrestlers of all-time and Dixie Carter considers him to be their main draw. Inevitably, she'll offer him some ridiculous amount of money. He may not accept it though. It's also possible he could stay on in a non-wrestling role.

Anyone else think it's weird how Matt Morgan wants into the MEM, despite the fact that he's only NOW getting decent in-ring time?

I wonder if Sting would retire and then resurface in WWE for a quick WM payday. You know they would take him in a second, too.

Vince would probably have him be Randy Orton bait, just for being a WCW/TNA draw.

Yeah, they would. They wanted him back in 2001, but he refused because he's a decent upstanding Christian and the WWF at the time was trashy as hell. Now that they're TV-PG, he might be inclined to join up.
Then again, Vince DID feud with God back in 2006. I could see Sting not taking kindly to that. He should team up with HBK and Brother Love to form the Soul Patrol.

If it was a short-term deal, Sting could just shoot on him mid-match during the PPV and then leave with his head held high. I always keep waiting to see someone do it, but it never happens. Closest I can think of is Regal/Goldberg in WCW, and Brody/Luger in a cage match from UWF or something. It'd be sweet to see it at WM...

Yeah, that would be awesome and I think that's the only reason he'd ever do it. It seems like at this point, the only reason Sting hasn't worked for the WWF at this point is because it's kind of a special badge of honor for him. He's the only big drawing American wrestler who has never worked for the WWF.
What's really funny is that even if he never works for them, he'll probably still be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame since they own the WCW library now. The WWE allegedly has a Sting DVD set ready to go, but won't release it until he's done with TNA. The long-awaited Randy Savage DVD set comes out on Tuesday.

I thought the reason Sting didn't join WWF back during the buy, was because he disliked the company in general?

Super Dragon is one of my all time favorite wrestlers, but he is currently injured and may not be wrestling again.

Jeff Hardy actually was briefly in TNA after being fired from the WWE for being flaky. He had the same problems in TNA and eventually no-showed a PPV to return to the WWE and somehow magically got his shit together.
I think returning to the WWE was a huge mistake for Christian. He's completely over with the fans, but the WWE will never use him correctly. Ron Killings should probably go back to TNA too. Jericho strikes me as another guy who would be great in TNA, but he's said in interviews he considers himself to be above TNA. I'd like to see Macho Man back in TNA too. This would arguably be very bad for wrestling, as the WWE has just finally begun to acknowledge that Macho Man existed, but when your company has Black Machismo Jay Lethal, you have to bring Randy Savage in at some point. Whether it's for a feud, or a team-up, the two need need to be onscreen together. Given that Creed and Lethal have become obsessed with the "Who Is Suicide?" bullshit, perhaps it's time for Savage to step in and get Lethal to focus his energies on something more constructive.

Umaga could go there, since he's released now.
