No I just thought I'd share this extabilishment based on the date of Syd's joining seems fairly young, just throwing up ideas that other places have found useful and you might as well..

As for dark maze, it was just a suggestion which is why i made this thing, to just brian storm and offer any potentially useful thoughts i conjure... and i'm not just doing it for myself, which is why if i am neutral about something, but others might like it i post it.. as for later saying i didn't want it.. in the very same post i posted int aht suggestion i said i didn't care for it.. but i did mean it, if other did care for it...

6.) I don't really care for this idea, but some sight like the option of giving the user to create choose their own background from a collection... ilike if i wanted red and blue, ad opposed to this purple and black set up going on i could choose it....

Not really sure how much people here would like it... i personally use the default of any place i go, unless the color scheme is unreasonable, but then again i only really visit one or other place....

7.) Just deleted my own post, but pressing undo one to many times.. so i'll make this short:

I think we should hold like a competition every 4 months on the forums.. the reason every 4 months to make it something special... something people can anticipate, and something people can bask in the glory in for awhile, before the next competetion, which could be the same kind of tournament or a different tournament. I think primarily whatever the game is, it'd hopefully have some relation to the forums, or if not, at least relation to the majority of people's interesting here... and the way winners can be decided is through polls.. maybe we set up brackets and days individual will go head to head on, on a pre-assigned week time frame. Maybe it's JonSnow, verse jeebus on monday and vold and syd on tuesday or something... and through elimination eventually the final two will go at it....

This idea can be realyl fun if we can think of a suitable game... I was thinking maybe we could have a game like create your own comic book character... two people do it... we both PM syd... our creation Syd then posts them up, and people don't know officially whose is whose... And there could be a picture and a brief discription of the character below and people will vote on their favorite one... It'd be illegal to tell anyone which one is yours... Of course we can't neccessariyl enforce that but for the sport of it, taht's what we'd expect... and hopefully people would just be honest about their vote... Also view poll results should be disabled until the end of the day, that way it'll just be up to that indvidual.. Then the morning of the next day, the results are viewable and a winner is announce but not the name of that winner... as the character will advance to the next round..

The week prior to thsi competition their will be a sign up... then the next week it'll actaullyl take off... I'll try and think of more ideas that might actaully work, and if others are interested that'd be cool... who knows that could be our first competition... who can come up with the best idea, and by vote we decide on it... and only at the very end will the the name of the winner be announced... and for that 4 month time period Syd could give that person somethign special, like maybe a crown cirles their name or something...

this is an idea, partially inspired by the little thing we had goin on.. with people verse video game characters...


Edit: There is an obvious danger to such a thing.. resentement... but i think if done well it could turn out okay.. And if someone wants maybe it can be done once every 6 months... as opposed to once every 4...

If you do it too often, it wouldnt' be special... kind of like the olympics is held once every four years.. to give people time to train, and for the winners to bask in their glory... and besides another reason to take a break, is because it takes up a fair amount of work to set up these things.. Syd doesn't want to set up tourney after tourney...

i think every 4 months or every 6 months is probably a good idea...
