The Murdar thread had to be locked due to excessive silliness, so I'm taking Kubo's suggestion and running with it. We're doing this Supreme Court style. Nine people will publicly vote for either Clyde or Murdar. Whoever gets a simply majority of the votes wins. The voters are:

Char Aznable
Chrisby
RobotGumshoe
greeneyedzeke
Dr. Jeebus
Spanky McCracken
Murdar Machene

I vote for Murdar, because even though he was the originator of the obnoxious sig gifs, he also gave us MegaManFanBlasterCool, which I will be eternally greatful for.

I was really hoping to see a SydLexia MK or Street Fighter YouTube. That would've been awesome!

Also, I do plan to spam the hell out of this thread, too. So, continuing from where the other thread left off, I think I'll revise my previous statement, since I've heard valid points:

I was left off the jury and Murdar was allowed on? Damn, I guess that what happens when Clyde hires Pac-man Jr. as his jury selection advisor. Or maybe Murdar hired Gene Hackman.

Basically, I randomly picked seven people from those who had been regularly posting in the voting threads. The other two slots were guaranteed slots. One was mine, since hey, I like me. The other guaranteed slot went to Kubo since the BCS thing was his idea.

The current tally is 5-3 without my vote. Since Murdar wins anyway, I guess I'll abstain. But as Chief Justice, I get to choose who writes the majority opinion.

Kubo, Spanky, and Jeebus can all write dissenting opinions if they choose.

Friends, I am not here to tell you that Murdar is a bad person, or unworthy of admiration. This is not the case. Murdar has given all of us reasons to smile, laugh, cringe, and fume...often within the same post.

No, my issue with Murdar's win is not personal, nor should it be viewed that way. The fact remains that this was a first round match-up of what will be a fierce and most likely contentious battle between us, the good forum members of Sydlexia.com, and semi-lame video game characters, like Clyde. We should be establishing dominance over these second-rate, two-bit (actually, 8 or 16-bit mostly) hacks, not tying them. At least with a loss, you can learn from the match and determine what needs to be done to rectify the situation in the future. But a tie? Against Clyde? Sad and pathetic.

If you don't win, you lose. Winning on a technicality is bush league.
