Was working at a local toy store. This was no ordinary toy store. We had a lot of the current stuff at the time but right when I started working there the owner had bought out a store that was going out of business. The stock from this other store was a lot of classic toys. Star Wars stuff from the original trilogy still unopened, Transformers, G.I. Joes, and a ton of other stuff from the 70's and 80's. It was an awesome place to work. People would come in and be like "Holy shit...I used to have this exact toy when I was a kid!" I ended up buying a lot of my McFarlane stuff from this very store as well. We also had a couple life size Star Wars prop replicas. We had a life sized Darth Vader and a Han Solo in Carbonite. Unfortunately in 2000 the store was sold to another company because the owner moved away and it has since been turned into a gift shop. I worked there from 1998 to 2001. I worked under the new owners for a few months to help them sell the remainder of the toys before they changed it over to a gift shop. What an awesome job it was though while it lasted.

I bet a lot of the stuff you got from the shop is beyond valuable now. I bet you can make a few thousand dollars with a mint-condition Darth Vader action figure from the 70's.

Anyway, I wish I had a job like that.

Unfortunately I don't have any of the original stuff still unopened. I have Star Wars figures and a couple vehicles from the originals when I was a kid but they are all opened and many are probably missing weapons. When the store got the classic inventory the prices were still out of my price range for the unopened stuff. We had a Chewbacca figure from the original 1977 line unopened and the card/package is signed by Peter Mayhew. I believe it was priced at around $300. Also when the owner moved she took most of the classic leftover inventory with her. We were all huge Star Wars fans and she took the old school stuff with her when she sold the store and moved. It was still a badass place to work though.

Sort of related...
My Dad worked at a record store in AZ shortly before we moved to WI, and it had just been nought by new people. The old owners really did a shit job of running the place, nothing was organized, and there wasn't enough room for stuff in the actual store, so most of the stuff they got was in the back. I got some awesome records there though, lots of rare finds for cheap. It kind of pisses me off that I didn't know too many bands back then because I'm sure there were some gems hiding there.
